8th September 2017 - Cigna UK HealthCare Benefits (Cigna) has won ‘Best Technology Provider 2017’ at the annual Workplace Savings & Benefits (WS&B) awards for its fully integrated health and wellbeing app. Cigna Virtual Health® makes it easier for UK employers to help their employees navigate to better health.
For the first time in the UK health market, Cigna has brought together proprietary digital health capabilities with best-in-class partner capabilities to deliver an end to end digital customer health experience. The Virtual Health team provides a personalized experience and includes tools and coaching to proactively manage people’s health and wellbeing on the go.
Key features include a health risk assessment, symptom checker, virtual general practitioner (GP) appointments at times that suit, prescriptions delivered to the workplace or home for convenience, and seamless access to Cigna’s nursing team. Health data can be stored on the app, and activity trackers synced to help monitor health improvement and progress.
