Healthy Workplace Awards

Image of Healthy Discounts offerThe Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit (GHWAwards), which are closely aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) Healthy Workplace Framework, brings together leaders in global health and well-being.  The GHWAwards are organised and hosted by three international partners: GKEN (Global Knowledge and Exchange Network), Wolf Kirsten International Health Consulting, and i-genius.  The Awards launched in April 2013 with its first global Awards Summit taking place in London, UK.

The Awards are open to ALL employer organisations (for profit and not-for-profit, local and international) in up to three categories:

Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs): with less than 500 employees who run exemplary programs addressing the components of the WHO Healthy Workplace framework (see link below). Applicants should demonstrate success in at least one of the four principle components of the Healthy Workplace framework and outline plans for addressing the other components.

Large Enterprises: with more than 500 employees who run exemplary programs addressing all components of the WHO Healthy Workplace framework at one local worksite.

Multi-national Enterprises: employers with employees in different countries who run exemplary programs addressing all components of the WHO Healthy Workplace framework across multiple worksite locations and countries.

Applications are assessed by an esteemed panel of judges based on the World Health Organisation's Healthy Workplace Model criteria. The Awards is a comprehensive program to celebrate, learn from and promote healthy workplaces globally.
