Cigna UKHB strengthens employee health & productivity solutions with Employee Assistance Programme

Image of bicycle with training wheelsCigna UKHB has launched an employee assistance programme (EAP) to complement its occupational health, medical and dental plan solutions.  The EAP will be available to purchase on its own or alongside any of their existing product portfolio.

Employers know that from time to time, everyone has issues and concerns that impact on their general wellbeing and their productivity at work. With an EAP employers and employees alike can better manage these issues.  Where employees have access to more than one Cigna service, they will be able to access these via one helpline and benefit from a seamless service experience.

The EAP is delivered in partnership with Workplace Options, Cigna’s global EAP partner, and provides the best available support for line managers and employees by:

  • Using an in-house team of telephone councillors and case managers to deliver a wide range of support and advisory services.
  • Having 24/7 access via free phone, SMS text and confidential email.
  • Offering a dedicated line manager support service – ManagerAssist – to offer advice and support on any managerial issues or challenges.
