Sales Associate (German Speaker)
Purpose of the job/Key Objective:
To support the Sales Consultants across Europe in all aspects of account acquisition and identify new business opportunities through thorough research and by ensuring maximum effectiveness of internal processes and communication to guarantee optimum service to clients, brokers and the Sales team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and update competitor information on a yearly basis providing feedback to Sales
- Participate in ad-hoc research projects and mailing campaigns
- Take ownership of quotations by ensuring internal processes are followed and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and issue new business proposals to Sales Consultants specification
- Maintain and update SF.com in conjunction with Sales Consultants
- Assist with preparation of presentations/handouts
- Provide translation support when required
- Provide diligent research to identify new leads
- Respond to tender questionnaires
- Liaise with Client Management Executives to ensure smooth implementation of new business
Experience Required:
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in a team based environment
- Used to meeting tight deadlines and managing priorities (working under pressure)
- Sales/Healthcare background preferred (not essential)
Education/professional qualifications required:
- A Level Education or equivalent
Skills/Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- PC Skill (Excel, word and Power point)
- Interpersonal skills/telephone manner
- Self motivated
- Ability to take ownership
- Work well in a team environment
