Product Manager

The Position:
The UKHC marketing department require two product managers to support our growing business. These roles will involve managing our portfolio of medical, dental and absence products. The candidates will be required to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives and longer term strategic aims for our products. This will be achieved by working with key stakeholders to optimise market insight and awareness, product design and pricing, distribution, operational delivery and profitability.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Have an expert knowledge of customer requirements and experiences of specified CIGNA products and services
- Provide a well developed understanding of the specified product’s performance and key drivers
- To proactively support the distribution expansion of specific products in CIGNA’s UK product portfolio in mainly the private but also the public sectors.
- Identify opportunities to increase CIGNA’s market profile in these markets amongst defined target audiences
- Establish close working relationships with the sales teams
- Ensure the development of relevant and effective sales tools and proposals
- Manage the development and implementation of lead generation campaigns and events
- Effectively support the achievement of annual business plans and longer term strategies for specific products in CIGNA’s UK healthcare product portfolio by working with the Head of Product Management to deliver
- Influence competitive pricing positioning
- Comply with specified corporate and legal guidelines
Experience Required:
- Degree or professional qualification in marketing or related discipline
- Experience within an insurance, business to business environment, employee benefits or occupational health markets
- Experience of product management.
