Purpose of the job/Key Objective:
The UK Healthcare business is looking for a web designer, responsible for the layout,
visual appearance and usability of the UK website, client sites and company intranet
using a combination of graphic design skills and technical knowledge of how web
pages are created.
The Position:
- To provide assistance with all tasks associated with the efficient
operation of the Mail Room.
- To provide micrographic, microfilming and associated services and
all other tasks pertaining to this role.
Main
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To deal efficiently with all incoming and outgoing mail to
include the use of the pigeon hole system, date stamping, folding, inserting, and
franking machines.
- Manually sort, fold and insert all mail as required
- To ensure that all faxes are sent in a timely manner and keep an
up-to-date register, distributing incoming faxes quickly and efficiently.
- To prepare parcels etc, for the couriers and all associated paperwork
and on-line documentation.
- To carry out all photocopying tasks quickly and accurately, maintaining
an up-to-date register of work requests.
- To keep statistics and pass to manager for inclusion in monthly
report.
- To ensure that there is adequate stationery in the mailroom and
associated cupboards.
- To assist with office moves when required.
- To have day to day responsibility for off-site storage/shredding
of files.
- To carry out functions as requested for micrographic and microfilming,
ensuring that there is an adequate stock of materials, and destroying obsolete data
in compliance with legal requirements.
- Any other reasonable tasks that may be required by management.
Experience Required:
- At least two years working in a Mail Room environment
Education/professional qualifications required:
- Education/professional qualifications required
Skills Required:
- Accuracy; attention to detail
- PC Skills; ability to access
- PC based information, intranet, internet, email, external contractors’
database. All on a daily basis.
- Numerate
- Clean Full Driving licence
- Flexibility; to provide service to wider department
- Good communication, face to face and telephone
