The development of our people is also an integral part of our culture and our success. The main tool used for this is 'How Am I Doing', our appraisal process. This allows staff to agree objectives with their manager at the beginning of the year upon which they will be measured. It also provides the opportunity to create a development plan for the year which is followed up through the appraisal process. We encourage staff to meet with their managers on a quarterly basis to discuss their plan and objectives throughout the year to ensure any barriers can be addressed.
