Day One Absence Monitoring

CIGNA's Day One Absence Monitoring service will ensure complete, consistent and accurate employee absence records across your organisation.

Our absence call centre is open every hour of every day - ready to take the absence calls of your employees. Once the details of the absence are recorded, email or text notifications are immediately issued to relevant management advising them of the nature of the absence as well as the expected return-to-work date.

Subsequent notifications are issued as soon as the employee returns to work or if their expected return is delayed. Should the employee become eligible for referral into absence case management - the line manager will receive an emailed link to CIGNA's online referral form to ensure a swift referral.

All communications include a direct link to the employee's absence records as well as real-time online MI reporting at both team and organisational level.
